Russia completed supply of T-90S tanks to Azerbaijan

Russia has fully fulfilled its obligations on supply of T-90S tanks to Azerbaijan, abc.az reports.

At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2016) Oleg Sienko, the General Director of corporation Uralvagonzavod, informed that the delivery has been finished.

Completion of deliveries of Russian infantry fighting vehicles BMP-3 to Azerbaijan is also expected this year.

Russia and Azerbaijan agreed on supply of a large consignment of weapons and equipment in 2010, and the implementation of the contracts will finish in 2016-17. Experts estimated the cost of those agreements in the amount of up to $2 bn.
