Russia will develop transport corridors, including North-South. In three years, deliveries may increase by a third. Thus, Russia will get access to new markets, Mishustin says.

The development of transport corridors will make it possible to seriously increase the volume of international traffic within three years, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said today in the State Duma.

Reliable transport corridors are a necessary condition for strengthening and expanding trade ties. Thus, Russia will develop international logistics routes based on the export/import demand, the head of the Cabinet explained.

Russia will continue to develop infrastructure within the North-South Transport Corridor, he said. In addition, Russia's interests include the development of routes in the Azov-Black Sea and Eastern directions. Well-established transport routes will contribute to the growth of deliveries of Russian goods abroad and open up new markets for local products.

According to Mishustin, the expansion of transport corridors will lead to an increase in traffic and supplies by more than 30% within three years.
