Today Russian President Vladimir Putin, expressing condolences to his French counterpart Francois Hollande in connection with the series of terrorist attacks in Paris, said that the tragic events in the French capital are another indication of the barbaric nature of terrorism, which challenges human civilization.
"It is clear that, for an effective fight against this evil, real joint efforts of the international community are required," the head of the Russian state stated.
"I would like to confirm Russia's readiness for close cooperation with French partners in the investigation of crimes committed in Paris. I expect that those who ordered and carried it out will suffer deserved punishment," TASS quoted Putin as saying.
