Russia may become an investor of the Iran-Armenia railroad project. The possibility was announced after a meeting of Prime Minister of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan with Transport Minister Maksim Sokolov.
"The Russian side has noted the importance of the construction of the Iran-Armenia railroad and expressed its willingness to possibly participate in it" Sputnik Armenia cites the Prime Minister’s press service.
It is known that the cost of construction is estimated at $3.5 billion.
