Russian energy specialists may be invited to develop 22 oil fields in Tajikistan. This was announced following a meeting between Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak and Tajik Energy Minister Daler Jumo.
According to the meeting participants, the key challenges to be addressed during the implementation of this plan include securing development resources and installing specialized equipment capable of withstanding Tajikistan's seismic conditions.
Tajikistan currently maintains 28 registered oil fields, with Afghanistan and Uzbekistan serving as primary importers of its petroleum products.
