Russia may send military aid to Iraq after receiving an official request from the authorities of this country, the Russian Federation Council's Defense and Security Committee Chairman, Viktor Ozerov, said
"I think that Russia, of course, will provide military aid to Iraq if it receives an appropriate request. The terrorists finally have to be finished," he said.
He also noted that the country's parliament is ready to support Vladimir Putin's decision to send Russian troops to Iraq.
