Russia is monitoring the situation in Turkey, it is developing dramatically, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Saturday, TASS reports.
"I repeat once again the words of the Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at a press conference with the US Secretary of State John Kerry. We monitor the development of the situation in Turkey, and it develops very dramatically. Therefore, the Minister urged Russian citizens in Turkey not to leave their houses, apartments and do everything to avoid exposing their life to danger," she said.
"Secondly, we urge all Russian citizens who are planning to visit Turkey to weigh all the risks, the situation is more than tense," Zakharova added.
