Russia leads in the volume of apples imported from Georgia, according to the Georgian Ministry of Agriculture.
Data from Georgia's Ministry of Agriculture shows that from August 1 to January 13, Russia imported over 9,200 tons of apples from Georgia, representing more than 91% of the total export volume of approximately 10,000 tons.
Türkiye was the second-largest buyer with 540 tons, while Belarus ranked third with imports of 150 tons.
The export price for apples averaged $0.73 per kilogram during this period, marking a 15% increase compared to the same period last year.
