Russia has imposed personal sanctions on representatives of Australia's law enforcement, border service and defense contractors.
"By way of a response to official Canberra's decision to impose sanctions under Australia's equivalent of the Magnitsky Act, the Russian Federation is reciprocating by adding to its national stop list 39 individuals from among representatives of law enforcement, the border service and contractors of the Australia's defense sector," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on its website.
The statement contains a list with the names of 39 sanctioned individuals.
