Russia is always ready to provide a platform for a meeting between the foreign ministers of Turkey and Syria, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said.
"Russia is always ready, of course," TASS quotes him as saying.
On August 5, a meeting was held in Sochi between the Presidents of Russia and Turkey, Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan. After the talks, Turkish media reported that Turkey was discussing the possibility of establishing direct contacts with the leadership of Syria.
