The number of coronavirus cases in Russia rose by 16,688 to 3,934,606 in the past 24 hours, the anti-coronavirus crisis center said on Friday.
The coronavirus growth rate stands at 0.43%.
The rate is the lowest in the Tuva region (0.08%), the Yamalo-Nenets autonomous region, the Jewish autonomous region, the Magadan region, the Sakhalin region, the Kostroma region and Moscow (0.2%).
Moscow’s coronavirus cases rose by 2,032 to 939,482 in the past day. According to the crisis center, the city’s coronavirus growth rate stands at 0.22%. As many as 2,095 coronavirus patients were identified in Moscow on Thursday.
Seventy-one coronavirus deaths were recorded in the city in the past day, bringing the death toll to 13,772. The number of recovered patients increased by 4,664 to 839,832.
There are currently 85,878 active coronavirus cases in Moscow.
In particular, 473 coronavirus cases were recorded in the Nizhny Novogorod region, 368 in the Voronezh region, 364 in the Rostov region, and 331 in the Sverdlovsk region.
There are currently 445,379 active coronavirus cases in Russia, TASS reported.
