The Russian ambassador to Ankara, Andrei Karlov, announced that in January the volume of exports of Turkish goods to Russia fell three-fold in comparison with the same period in 2015.
At the same time, he pointed out that there are also ‘invisible exports’ such as construction, tourism, and transit, which stand at $15 billion annually, including about $4.5 billion in the tourist industry. "These figures have also drastically dropped," Gazeta.ru cited Karlov as saying.
