The Russian economy is growing by more than 2%, and inflation has fallen to a record low level, Russian President Vladimir Putin told his BRICS colleagues during an expanded summit meeting today.
”The economic growth rates are recovering. They are not the same as in India or China, but after the recession the economy growth is more than 2%," Interfax quotes him as saying.
According to the head of state, at the moment, the inflation rate in Russia is 3.5%, and by the end of the year it will reach 3.7-3.8%.
