The 2025 Bloomberg Billionaires Index ranking has been published, featuring a number of Russian businessmen.
First place was retained by Norilsk Nickel and Interros president Vladimir Potanin with a fortune of $26.4 billion. However, his wealth decreased by $1.44 billion in 2025.
In second place is the main beneficiary of "Severstal," Alexey Mordashov, with $26.3 billion, marking an increase of $3.02 billion over the year.
Chairman of the board of directors of NLMK Vladimir Lisin claimed third place, with his fortune losing $2.08 bln to $23.7 bln.
Co-owner of Novatek Leonid Mikhelson moved into fourth position in the ranking with $23.7 billion, having gained $1.35 billion over the year. Co-owner of Lukoil Vagit Alekperov is in the fifth place with $22.6 billion, down $2.72 billion.
In sixth place is shareholder of Metalloinvest and MegaFon Alisher Usmanov, whose fortune is now estimated at $19.3 billion. The year 2025 proved to be his most successful yet, as his wealth increased by $6.04 billion.
Overall, the fortunes of Russia's richest businessmen have increased by $18.378 bln since the beginning of this year, RIA Novosti reports.
