Russia's North Caucasian republic of Dagestan is marking Constitution Day today.
The head of the Republic Ramazan Abdulatipov congratulated the peoples of Dagestan on the holiday, noting that the adoption of the basic law of the republic became a serious stage in the life of the people, which determined the strategy of democratic development of the republic as an integral part of the Russian Federation.
"I congratulate all Dagestanis on the state holiday - the Day of the Constitution of the Republic of Dagestan!" Abdulatipov said in a statement.
