Russian chess grandmaster Daniil Dubov won the gold medal in the World Rapid championship, which ended on Friday night in St Petersburg.
Azerbaijan's Shakhriyar Mamedyarov won the silver medal, Hikaru Nakamura from the U.S. won the bronze medal, Russia's Vladislav Artemiev was placed fourth and Norway's Magnus Carlsen - fifth.
In rapid each player has 15 minutes for the entire game, plus a 10-seconds increment for each move.
