The Russian Ministry of Economic Development retained its forecast for inflation in Russia for 2019 at the level of 4.3%, Minister of Economic Development Maksim Oreshkin said.
"In general, the situation with inflation at the beginning of the year is better than expected, and by the end of the year we see no reason to change our forecast," TASS cited him as saying.
Oreshkin added that the ministry expects a slowdown in inflationary dynamics to 4.3% by the end of this year and a decline of 4% next January.
