Russia's Foreign Ministry urges to respect JCPOA

Russia urged to respect the Iran nuclear deal, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

"We should respect the positive things that have been achieved on such important issues as the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action to resolve the situation around the Iranian nuclear program," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Earlier it was reported that last week, U.S. President Donald Trump has decided to extend sanctions relief granted to Iran under its 2015 nuclear deal. At the same time, a source in the US administration told reporters that Trump said he would waive sanctions against Iran for the last time unless his conditions were met, RIA Novosti recalls.
