Russia's Gazprom plans to acquire assets of Kyrgyzneftegaz

Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller and First Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Kubatbek Boronov signed on Thursday a roadmap on the participation of the Russian energy giant in the acquisition of Kyrgyzneftegaz property and assets, Gazprom said, Urdu Point reported.

The signing took place in the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov.

"The roadmap provides for mutual obligations of the parties and a plan for further actions. In particular, it is planned to carry out an evaluation of the company and prepare a financial and economic assessment of the deal," Gazprom said in a statement.

Kyrgyzneftegaz develops oil and gas fields with recoverable commercial reserves, as well as produces oil.
