Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Army General Valery Gerasimov has held talks with his Turkish colleague Yasar Guler to discuss developments in Syria, the Turkish army said.
The sides exchanged views on Syria where the two countries hold joint patrols under a deal, the Turkish Armed Forces said on Twitter.
No further details were provided over the phone conversation, Anadolu Agency reported.
