Russian and Turkish Chiefs of Staff discuss Syria

Russian Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov has discussed the situation in Syria with his Turkish counterpart Yasar Guler over the phone, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

"Over the course of the talks, the parties discussed the situation in Syria, including that in the Idlib de-escalation zone, and exchanged opinions on ensuring stability in the region," TASS cited the defense agency as saying.
