Russia sets new record in oil production

The Central Dispatch Administration of the Fuel and Energy Complex has published research data, according to which at the end of 2015 Russia produced 534.081 million tons of crude oil and gas condensate, which is 1.4% more than in 2014.

Exports of Russian raw materials to foreign countries in 2015 also increased by 10.6%, reaching 220.267 million tons.

A new record in average daily oil production for the last year was set – an increase to 10.726 million barrels per day. In December 2015 average daily production reached the level of 10.825 million barrels, per month, in general, Russia produced 45.78 million tons – 1.5% more than in the last month of 2014, Interfax writes.

According to given data, in the previous year the country's largest oil company 'Rosneft' produced 189.2 million tons of oil, LUKOIL – 85.654 million tons, 'Surgutneftegaz' – 61.622 million tons, 'Gazprom oil' – 34.326 million tons, 'Tatneft' – 27.248 million tons, 'Bashneft' – 19.919 million tons, 'Slavneft' – 15.475 million tons, 'RussNeft' – 7.387 million tons.
