Russia sums up relations with Kazakhstan

Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the people of the country on Republic Day, the national holiday of the Republic of Kazakhstan, noting that Russian-Kazakh relations are at a high level, the congratulatory telegram was published on the Kremlin website.

"The Russian-Kazakh relations are at a high level. I am certain that further enhancing the strategic partnership and constructive interaction within the CIS, the Eurasian Economic Community, the CSTO and the SCO is in line with the fundamental interests of Russia and Kazakhstan," Vladimir Putin said.

Kazakhstan is moving confidently on the path of social and economic development, making a tangible contribution to solving international problems, and has a well-deserved reputation on the international scene, the Russian leader noted.

Today, Kazakhstan is celebrateing a national holiday - Republic Day. On October 25, 1990, the Supreme Soviet of the Kazakh SSR adopted the declaration on the State Sovereignty of the Kazakh SSR.
