The Russian president has ordered the government to come up with a plan for destroying foods from the countries on the counter-sanctions list.
The Russian Minister of Agriculture, Alexander Tkachev, asked the head of state to allow the destruction of foods imported from countries placed under Russian import bans. Putin asked the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev about it.
"Okay. Let's accept the minister's proposal. I am asking the administration and the government to work with lawyers and to come up with the appropriate solutions," Putin said.
