Starting from January 1st, Rosselkhoznadzor is to impose temporary restrictions on imports of pork from Ukraine to Russia, the organization announced.
"The reason was the deteriorating epizootic situation in Ukraine on African swine fever, which confirms the spread of the virus in wild fauna, insufficient number of monitoring studies in wildlife, as well as failure to provide comprehensive information on the situation of ASF on the territory of various regions of Ukraine,’’ Interfax cites the message.
