Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, commenting on the decision of UK Defense Secretary Michael Fallon to send troops to the Baltic states to prevent possible provocations by Russia, said that NATO deploying troops to Baltic region will not remain unanswered by Russia.
"This is precisely the camouflage that NATO uses to cover up its plans to further expand toward our borders. This is not new, the process has been under way for dozens of years," TASS cites the spokesman as saying. "Of course, any plans by NATO to move its military infrastructure closer to Russia will lead to reciprocal steps in order to restore the necessary parity," Peskov stressed.
