Russia’s Emergencies Ministry is preparing the 31st humanitarian aid convoy to the Donbass region, a ministry spokesman said.
"The convoy will soon deliver foodstuffs, medicines, essential supplies and other items required for the residents of Donbass to the Luhansk and Donetsk regions," TASS cited the spokesman as saying.
The ministry’s Il-76 aircraft departed from Ramenskoye airfield for Rostov-on-Don, carrying more than 32 tonnes of humanitarian cargo, mostly medicines.
"Medicines and other medical supplies will be loaded on the vehicles that will be part of the next humanitarian convoy of Russia’s Emergencies Ministry being formed in the Donskoi rescue center," the spokesman said.
