Russia has signed a contract with Kazakhstan for the supply of 17 sets of Mi-8/17 helicopters for assembly, the Russian Helicopters press service said.
According to the CEO of the holding, Andrey Boginsky, today, the practical implementation of the project for the assembly of Russian helicopters in Kazakhstan was launched. The parties approved the project at the beginning of the year.
"We determined the delivery conditions for the first batch of machine kits, which, due to the efforts of our Kazakhstani partners, will soon turn into world-famous helicopters Mi-8/171," Boginsky said.
