Today the Central Bank of Russia announced the issue of silver coins with a nominal of three rubles with the image of the Shoana Church, the ancient Christian buildings located in Karachaevo-Cherkessia, on the reverse side of the coin. The coin is to be put into circulation on February 16th.
According to the press service of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, the diameter of the coin is 39 mm, the weight of the 925 carat silver is 31.1 g, the number of copies is 3000 coins.
