Russian Dina Averina wins qualification with clubs and ribbon at FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku

The qualification performances of the gymnasts of the FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in the individual program with clubs and ribbon ended in Baku.

The best results in both disciplines were shown by Russian Dina Averina: she received for her performance with clubs 21.65 points, with ribbon - 20.65 points.

The top three in the exercises with clubs included Catherine Taseva (Bulgaria, 21.1 points) and Ekaterina Galkina (Belarus, 20.75 points). Another Russian Arina Averina (20.75 points), Victoria Onoprienko (Ukraine, 19.75 points), Milena Baldassari (Italy, 19.7 points), Vlada Nikolchenko (Ukraine, 19.35 points), Alexandra Adzhurzhukuleze (Italy, 19.2 points), Nicole Zelikman (Israel, 19.2 points) also got to the finals.

Anastasia Salos (Belarus, 20.05 points) and Vlada Nikolchenko (Ukraine, 19.6 points) entered the top-3 in exercises with ribbon. Along with them, Arina Averina (19.1 points), Boryana Kalain (Bulgaria, 19 points), Ekaterina Galkina (Belarus, 18.9 points), Nicole Zelikman (Israel, 18.5 points), Ksenia Mustafayeva ( France, 18.3 points) got to the finals.

More than 200 gymnasts from 39 countries are competing at the World Cup. During the event, 25 teams will compete in group exercises and more than 70 gymnasts will perform in individual programs.
