The conditions for Russian natural gas supplies to Ukraine under existing contract between Russia's Gazprom and Ukraine's Naftogaz cannot be altered, Russian Energy Minister Aleksander Novak said on Wednesday, Trend reports.
Novak added that the price of $177 per 1,000 cubic meters for gas deliveries to Ukraine in the second quarter "is absolutely comfortable" and reflects the current market situation.
"Our key argument is that the existing contract until 2019 fully stipulates all contractual commitments between the two companies," Novak told reporters in Minsk.
