The 3rd Russian Energy Week International Forum has opened in Moscow.
The event will be attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin, energy ministers from a number of countries, representatives of major international energy companies and organisations, as well as by leading international experts.
The Kremlin press service earlier said that on October 2, Putin will take part in the plenary meeting of the forum themed Energy Partnership for Sustainable Development.
The official programme will include over 70 business events.
Russia’s Energy Minister Alexander Novak said that ministers of OPEC+ nations will discuss the issue of demand-supply on the oil market at the Russian Energy Week.
The event was first held in 2017 and serves as a platform to demonstrate the prospects of Russia's fuel and energy industry and exploring the potential of international cooperation in the field. This forum is Russia's largest trade event dedicated to analyzing trends in the global fuel and energy sector.
