Members of the Federation Council plan to hold contacts with American senators in the near future, head of Russia's Federation Council Committee for Foreign Affairs Konstantin Kosachev said.
"We’ve got some contacts planned with the US Senate in the coming weeks or months," Kosachev said at a committee meeting, but did not provide any details.
The US congressional delegation stayed in Russia from June 30 to July 5, TASS recalls.
