Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov arrived in the Chinese city of Tunxi on Wednesday to attend the third Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Afghanistan's Neighboring Countries on March 31, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in its Telegram channel.
On March 30, the Russian top diplomat will hold a series of negotiations with his foreign colleagues, including Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
The first Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Afghanistan's Neighboring Countries was held in Moscow on October 21, 2021, followed by another event in this format in Tehran on October 27. The meeting brought together diplomats of Russia, China, Tajikistan, Iran, Pakistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
