Russian Foreign Minister arrives at UN Headquarters in New York

Sergey Lavrov will hold 10 meetings today on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, including with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

The Russian delegation, led by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, arrived at the UN Headquarters in New York to participate in the UN General Assembly. The Minister is accompanied by Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin, and Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya.

Lavrov is scheduled to hold a number of bilateral meetings and participate in events related to the G20, BRICS, and the Collective Security Treaty Organization. He will also meet with United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres.
