The Russian Foreign Ministry has issued a statement condemning the attack on the hotel in the capital of Burikna Faso, Ouagadougou, and expressed its condolences to the victims.
"Moscow strongly condemns this criminal raid, the responsibility for which was taken by the extremist group ‘Al-Murabitun’, affiliated with the known terrorist organization 'Al-Qaeda of the Countries of the Islamic Maghreb'. We express our deepest condolences to the families and friends of those killed and wish a speedy recovery to the injured," Gazeta.ru quotes the statement.
