Russian Foreign Ministry sees no opportunities for dialogue on nuclear weapons with the US

As the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported today, Moscow sees no preconditions for the resumption of substantive discussion of issues of strategic nuclear weapons with Washington, with the exception of consultations on the implementation of the START treaty.

In 2015, the ministry noted "a stagnation in dialogue on arms control with the US", and the contacts between Moscow and Washington in the military sphere were "sporadic".
