The ceasefire regime is being observed along the entire line of contact in Nagorno-Karabakh, Chief of the Directorate of Media service and Information of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Major General Igor Konashenkov said.
Konashenkov said that the deployment of observation posts of Russian peacekeepers in the areas of the peacekeeping operation along the line of contact has been completed, and they monitor the situation around the clock, TASS reported.
The ministry said that more than 140 flights for the transfer of peacekeepers and equipment have been made by Russian Aerospace Forces planes since November 10.
The Russian Defense Ministry said that over 470 refugees returned to Nagorno-Karabakh on November 15.
On November 9, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed a joint statement on a complete ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh. The Russian leader said the Azerbaijani and Armenian sides would remain on the positions they hold and Russian peacekeepers would be deployed to the region. Besides, Armenia and Azerbaijan should carry out the exchange of prisoners of war and the bodies of those killed. Aghdam region will be returned to Azerbaijan before November 20, Kelbajar region - before November 15, Lachin region - before December 1.
