Russian Security Council focuses on fighting terrorism

The fight against terrorism was the focus of attention at today's meeting of the Security Council of Russia, headed by President Vladimir Putin, the chief Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said. 

Among the participants were Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, the head of the Kremlin administration Sergey Ivanov, State Duma Speaker Sergey Naryshkin, Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev and his deputy Rashid Nurgaliev, Minister of Internal Affairs Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, and the head of the FSB and SVR, Alexander Bortnikov, and Mikhail Fradkov, RIA Novosti reports.
