Russian 'Pipe Metallurgical Company' (TMK), one of the largest producers of pipes for oil and gas transportation in the world, plans to increase its presence in Iran.
It is expected that after the lifting of sanctions, Iranian authorities will be engaged in the reconstruction of infrastructure. TMK, even in the Soviet times, was the largest supplier of pipes for transporting oil in Iran.
Other Russian companies are also interested in returning to the Iranian market. Thus, opportunities for investments in Iran are also considered by Gazprom and Lukoil, Iran.ru reports.
