Russia is on the threshold of the inbound tourism crisis, as it was at the beginning of the 2000s, the president of the Russian Union of Travel Industry, Sergei Shpilko said today at the Gaidar Forum.
The head of the union urged to focus more on the inbound tourism. "When we talk about the domestic market, we are dealing with the effective demand of 150 million of our poorer countrymen, and when we talk about the inbound tourism, we are dealing with the whole world,’’ Shpilko said, adding that the Russian market can be in demand by Chinese tourists, RIA Novosti reported.
