The Russian Embassy in Tehran hosted a meeting today of Russian ambassador Levan Dzhagaryan with a group of Syrian students studying in Iran, the embassy press attaché Maxim Suslov said.
"The Embassy held a meeting of the Ambassador with a group of Syrian students studying in Iran. About 15 students came to the embassy with posters of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Syrian President Bashar Assad, as well as with other posters in support of Russian-Syrian friendship," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
Suslov noted that during the event Dzhagaryan spoke about the Russian approach to the Syrian conflict settlement.
