A telephone conversation between Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu and Defense Minister of Egypt Sedky Sobhi took place today, during which the parties discussed the situation in the crisis regions, including Syria, as well as military-technical cooperation between the two countries.
They also discussed Russian-Egyptian military and military-technical cooperation. "The Russian party reaffirmed its readiness to strengthen cooperation and enhance the capacity of the armed forces of Egypt,’’ Gazeta.ru cites the text of the messages, published on the website of the Russian Ministry.
In addition, Sedky Sobhi and Sergey Shoigu discussed the situation in crisis regions, including the situation in Syria.
