Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif discussed the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and Syrian situation on phone today, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
"The two ministers also shared views on bilateral issues as well as regional developments during the phone conversation. Implementation of JCPOA, settlement of Syrian issues given the agreements reached in Astana talks were among the topics dealt with by the two top diplomats," the statement reads.
