Russian budget deficit is lower than 1 trillion rubles in August

Russia's budget deficit according to the results of the first eight months of this year reached 991.1 billion rubles, according to the Treasury Department.

Thus it was reduced in comparison with the results for January-July, when the figure was 1.12 trillion rubles.

Budget revenues amounted to 8.9586 billion rubles, while expenditures amounted to 9.9496 trillion rubles, TASS reports.
