Russian counter sanctions extended until December 2018

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on extension of Russian counter sanctions until December 31, 2018. 

The document has been published on the website of legal information of the Russian authorities.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said yesterday that the government is planning a response to the EU's economic sanctions against Russia.

"Once again, politics takes over the economy and by and large over common sense in general," Medvedev said.
