Russian diplomat, Iranian ambassador focus on prospects for JCPOA

Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov and Iran’s Ambassador to Moscow Mehdi Sanai held talks on Thursday, discussing prospects for preserving the Iran nuclear deal, Russia’s Foreign Ministry said, TASS reports.

"The talks focused on prospects to preserve the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action [JCPOA] settling the Iran nuclear program. [The diplomats] exchanged views on some topical international issues," the ministry said.
