The Ukrainian government is ready to re-ignite the conflict in Donbass, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a comment.
The ministry noted that political chaos and social rift are taking place in the country "against the background of a simmering conflict in Donbass," "Kiev is ready to re-ignite it at any moment in order to try and regain control of the region no matter how many lives it may claim," TASS cited the statement as saying.
The ministry added that Moscow once again urges the United Nations, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the Council of Europe "to assess in principle all events in Ukraine, to demand that its authorities start complying with the applicable law and honor their international obligations."
