The Russian government published information on the results of the implementation of a series of decrees that the country's President Vladimir Putin issued in May 2012 and his related orders in 11 areas of economic, social, defense and public policy.
The government report on the execution of the decree 'On long-term state economic policy' notes that during the past period a number of federal laws and legal acts aimed at ensuring strategic planning have been adopted. "As part of the implementation of the road maps of the national entrepreneurial initiative, 88 federal laws and more than 470 legal acts have been adopted," the report says.
As part of the implementation of the decree 'On the measures to ensure affordable and comfortable housing for the citizens of the Russian Federation and to improve the quality of housing and communal services', 169,230 people were resettled last year. During the period of 2014-2016, 513.64 thousand people were resettled.
According to the data on the implementation of the presidential decree on public health policy, in the past year, the death rate in Russia has decreased compared to the same period in 2015. In 2016, 14 import-substituting medicines were registered, 16 new pharmaceutical plants were opened, production of medicines increased by 23.75%.
Since January 1, 2015, a new procedure for the formation of pension rights of citizens and the calculation of pensions in the mandatory pension insurance system has been introduced.
The Cabinet also reported on the implementation of the presidential 'May decrees' on the improvement of military service, as well as on the development of the Armed Forces and the modernization of the defense-industrial complex. In particular, the concept of introduction and development of the management system for the entire life cycle of weapons, military and special equipment was created. The Foundation for Advanced Studies completed work on 12 projects, 52 contracts for their implementation were signed. In addition, as of January 1, 2017, 383.8 thousand military posts were manned.
The government report notes that in the course of improving the system of state administration, a number of laws were adopted to improve the quality of public services and expand the network of multipurpose centers. In 2016, the number of citizens using the mechanism for obtaining state and municipal services in electronic form amounted to 31.7 million people, which is 56% more than in 2015.
At the end of last year, the state program of 'Implementation of the State National Policy' was approved. The total amount of federal budget spending for its implementation until 2025 will amount to 25.98 billion rubles, including 2.499 billion rubles - in 2017.
The document also says that during the implementation of the decree on the foreign policy course of the Russian Federation, a vast array of normative legal acts is being formed.
