Ekaterina Pykhtova and Tatyana Konakova won gold and silver medals in individual exercises at FIG European Aerobic Gymnastics Championships in Baku.
Both Russian athletes got 21.35 points in the final.
The bronze medal was taken by Darina Pashova from Bulgaria. She got 21.2 points.
The National Gymnastics Arena in Baku welcomes FIG European Aerobic Gymnastics Championships for the first time. Athletes from 22 countries participate in the tournament. Juniors and seniors perform in individual exercises among men and women, mixed pairs, trio and groups, aerodance, as well as aerostep – only for seniors. There will also be winners in junior and senior team ratings. Athletes will compete for 15 sets of medals.
